The Chinese Culture Transmission Base·Chan Wu Center

 中华文化传承基地·禅武中心是禅武国际联盟和广东省华侨职业技术学校联合创立的中华文化传承平台。该中心的设立旨在结合广东深厚的禅武文化积淀，秉持“禅心育人”的理念，以传统功夫和感恩教育为切入点，引导学生在“苦砥砺”中“修心本”，培养良好的行为举止和意志品质，激发自身奋进精神及和谐处世的人生观、价值观，以此满足莘莘学子和海外侨胞日益增长的文化传承需求。

The Chinese Culture Transmission Base--Chan Wu Center is the Chinese culture transmission organization under the cooperation of the International Chan Wu Federation and Guangdong Overseas Chinese Vocational School. Uphold the idea of "Chan", with the traditional kung fu and Thanksgiving education as the breakthrough point, to guide the students to challenge "bitter" in the "heart", cultivate good behavior and strong will, and stimulate their spirit of endeavor and outlook or values of harmonious life, in order to satisfy the increasing needs for cultural inheritance of students and overseas Chinese.

禅武中心依山而建，内设“禅”、“武”两个学习训练区域。习武区内梅花桩、独立桩、马步桩、木人桩、沙包架、龙门架、灵敏架、太极球、一字墙、弹跳坑、铁索一线穿、石锁、水缸、刀、枪、棍、链等传统练功器械应有尽有。禅修区内小桥流水、曲径通幽、鸟语花香。练功之余，或静修屋内净心虑思，或花果树下品茗论道，或青石台上习练书法，或文化馆中感悟禅学文化所蕴含的古老东方智慧。习武区与静修区，一动一静，一张一弛，充分展现了“以禅修心，以武强身”理念与大自然的完美融合。

Chan Wu Center is built with mountains around. There are two study and training districts: Chan training district and Martial Art training district. The Martial Art training district is equipped with traditional training tools, such as quincuncial piles, one-leg-post, horse-stand piles, wooden dummy, earth bags, portal frame, agile frame, straight-end wall, jump sand pit, iron chain, stone chain, water cylinder, sword, spear, rod and chain. In the Chan training district, small bridge aside tiny ponds, winding paths lead to quiet seclusion, with singing birds and fragrant flowers. After the physical training, learners could make tea, learning calligraphy and have Chan wisdom seminars in this place. The energetic Martial Art training district and peaceful Chan training district have fully display the perfect combination of great nature and the ideology of ‘training the mind with Chan and training the body with martial art’.

禅武中心有一支功夫修为深厚、素质全面的教官团队，还特聘了一批海内外武术界、文化界、商界精英为顾问，共同推动优秀禅武文化的传承和传播。禅武中心成立至今，在国侨办、省侨办以及中国华文教育基金会的高度重视和大力支持下，已先后23次举办“海外华裔青年禅武文化学习班”，为海外培养了910多名武术、舞狮人才，获得海外华社及海内外各大媒体的一致好评。禅武中心师生组成“广东禅武文化表演交流团”赴印尼、越南、马来西亚、匈牙利、英国、爱尔兰、巴拿马等国作慰侨文化交流，获得了当地华人及友族的热烈欢迎，受到我驻外使馆的高度赞扬。禅武中心拥有一支技术精湛、素养优良的专业功夫队伍，他们在禅武文化上各有修为。今后，他们将被陆续派往海外从事禅武文化教学与传播工作，服务海外侨胞，促进中外交流。

同行禅武路，广结天下缘。弘扬禅武精神，传播中华文化。促使世界各地更多的人通过修禅习武，共创美好生活，构建和谐世界。——这是禅武中心不懈的追求。

In Chan Wu Center，there are skillful coaches with comprehensive quality. In addition, martial arts, culture and business elites at home and abroad are employed as consultants of Chan Wu Center, and they have made great contribution to the transmission of Chan Wu culture. By now, with the help of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, Chan Wu Center has successfully held 23 training classes for the overseas Chinese youths, which cultivated more than 910 trainees that are good at martial arts and Lion Dance, winning unanimous acclaim from media at home and abroad. Moreover, coaches and trainees make up of Guangdong Chan Wu and calligraphy culture exchanging group, visiting countries like Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Hungary, Britain, Ireland, Panama, etc. and gaining warm welcome from overseas Chinese and embassy stationed abroad. What’s more, there is a professional Kung fu team in Chan Wu Center, of which the members are skillful and well-educated, especially in the field of Chan Wu culture. In the future, they will be sent abroad and work for the cause of the transmission of Chan Wu culture.
